The elastic is quite tight, so two turns should be enough to tie your hair.
Hand wash with mild soap
Dry flat. Do not tumble dry

For silk and satin scrunchies, which require special attention:

Do not wear it on wet/damp hair, to sleep, or for sports.
Be careful of snagging with jewellery and nails.
